Northeast Farm to School Institute – Applications Open The Northeast Farm to School Institute is now accepting applications until February 14. This year-long professional learning opportunity serves selected school, district, or early childhood teams from New England and New York. During the program, selected participants will have access to farm to school action planning, coaching, skill building, and networking opportunities. Alliance Monthly Equity Discussion – 1/21 Join a group of peers and colleagues from the early childhood community to engage in sustained learning about anti-racism, equity, and inclusion. The Alliance hosts a monthly, salon-style Equity Discussion Group via Zoom, and the next session is coming up on Friday, January 21 at 1:00 pm. “Teaching Black History Month All Year Round” will be facilitated by Chris Dodge, a veteran Vermont educator and school principal at Swanton Elementary School. Chris is currently finishing his certificate of advanced graduate study in school law at the University of Connecticut, where much of his learning has focused on equity, social and restorative justice, and anti-racism.
