Public Assets Institute Releases 2025 State of Working Vermont

The Public Assets Institute has released their 2025 “State of Working Vermont” report. This annual report analyzes data from the US Census and other sources on costs, income, and wages in Vermont. It looks at how residents are doing and recommends actions the state can take to protect Vermonters’ wellbeing and economic security.

Among the key takeaways from this year’s report – Vermonters continued to lose ground in making ends meet, and federal funding cuts are further threatening the safety and security of tens of thousands of Vermonters.
