VCLF Fall Gathering – 10/8

The Vermont Community Loan Fund (VCLF) will be having its Fall Gathering on Tuesday, October 8 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Montpelier Performing Arts Hub.

In recent years, our brave little state capital has seen a lot of change. Post-COVID, there are fewer workers coming to town every day to support local businesses. Flooding in 2023 and 2024 has made things even more challenging. VCLF has been collaborating on a new vision for a Montpelier that is inclusive, resilient, and thriving.

At the event you will get a chance to meet leaders of three Montpelier VCLF borrowers and learn about their plans for the future and how VCLF is helping them get there – the Montpelier Performing Arts Hub, the New School of Montpelier, and the Greenway Institute.

The Alliance is a program of VCLF, an organization that has supported critical parts of our community including child care providers since 1988.

Register for this event on Eventbrite.

Trauma Informed Care Training – 11/13

The Vermont Agency of Education, in collaboration with the Pyramid Model Consortium, is hosting a free training for early childhood educators and care providers about trauma-informed care on November 13 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The training builds on previous offerings and will draw connections between trauma-informed care, wellness, and the effective workforce. It will explore trauma-informed universal supports and practices, with a focus on regulation skills, de-escalation, and relational repair.

Register for this event on Eventbrite.
