“Room for Me” Grants – Applications Due 10/31

The Vermont Child Development Division is partnering with Vermont Afterschool to offer another round of “Room for Me” grants to start up or expand afterschool and summer programs.

The “Room for Me” grants will fund programs to expand the number of school-age children aged 5-12 served in afterschool, school vacation, and summer programs statewide with a focus on underserved areas of Vermont.

Vermont Licensing Q&A Panel – 10/29

First Children's Finance VT is hosting a virtual Q&A panel about Early Childhood Educator licensing on October 29 at 1:00 pm through Northern Lights at CCV. The session will be led by a Vermont Licensing professional who can answer questions about the process.

Spring 2026 TEACH Scholarships – Applications Open 11/10

Administered by the Vermont Association for the Education of Young Children (VTAEYC), the Spring 2026 TEACH Early Childhood® Vermont Scholarship application window will be open November 10 to December 5.

TEACH scholarships cover tuition, books, release time, a stipend, and a completion bonus. Each scholar is paired with a TEACH counselor who provides encouragement and guidance along the way.

VTAEYC is Hiring

VTAEYC is seeking an Analytics & Impact Data Coordinator and an Operations Specialist. Both full-time positions offer the chance to make a real difference in the lives of educators, children, and families across Vermont. An early childhood education background isn’t required.

The Vermont Early Childhood Advocacy Alliance is a statewide coalition formed in 2000 of early childhood professionals, parents, organizations, businesses, and strategic partners committed to improving public policies that impact young children between birth and age eight in the areas of health, safety, food security, economic security, and early care and education.

The Alliance crafts an annual Legislative Agenda in partnership with early childhood organizations, provides year-round advocacy support, and facilitates meaningful interactions with policymakers at key times during the decision making process.
