FY23 Budget Development Process – Public Comments Open Now

While the next state fiscal year – FY23 – does not start until July 2022, the Administration’s budget writing process has already begun. The Governor’s office is seeking public comment as they develop their budget goals and priorities for FY23. The Administration has created a short presentation with an overview of the budget process and has created public surveys and comment forms to collect public input.

What issues do you care about most from the Alliance's 2022 Legislative Agenda? We’d like to know, since that will help us get in touch with you with content and updates you are most interested in. To help us better support you, please take the following steps:

1. Review the nine issues in the Alliance's 2022 Legislative Agenda. The issues representing health, housing, nutrition, economic security, and early care and education were selected by the Alliance's Steering Committee in partnership with "lead" organizations.

2. Take a brief survey about which issues you'd like to receive tailored communications about during the fast-paced Legislative Session.

Alliance Monthly Equity Discussion – 11/19

Join a group of peers and colleagues from the early childhood community to engage in sustained learning about anti-racism, equity, and inclusion. The Alliance hosts a monthly, salon-style Equity Discussion Group via Zoom, and the next session is coming this Friday, November 19 at 1:00 pm.

“Winter Holiday Perils and Possibilities,” will be facilitated by Alliance Executive Director Matt Levin. He will provide one Jewish person’s perspective on the challenges and opportunities that come with public celebrations of the traditional December holidays in classrooms, offices, waiting rooms, and break rooms.
