Seeking DEI Topics and Discussion Leaders for Alliance Equity Salons

Do you have an idea for a DEI-related topic you'd like to learn more about and discuss with your peers? Know someone who you think would be great as a presenter or facilitator?

We're working on scheduling topics for the Alliance's monthly, salon-style Equity Discussion Group for the coming year, and we need your input and ideas. We like to focus on topics that are especially related or relevant to kids 0 to 8 and their families, but also talk about topics of more general interest and related to organizations and management.

Help us continue to build this series of gatherings that help the early childhood community to engage in sustained learning about anti-racism, equity, and inclusion.

Share your ideas with Alliance Executive Director, Matt Levin, at matt@vecaa.org.

The Vermont Early Childhood Advocacy Alliance is a statewide coalition formed in 2000 of early childhood professionals, parents, organizations, businesses, and strategic partners committed to improving public policies that impact young children between birth and age eight in the areas of health, safety, food security, economic security, and early care and education.

The Alliance crafts an annual Legislative Agenda in partnership with early childhood organizations, provides year-round advocacy support, and facilitates meaningful interactions with policymakers at key times during the decision making process.
