BBF to Release “The State of Vermont’s Children: 2023 Year in Review” – 1/18

Building Bright Futures (BBF) is holding a virtual briefing to mark the release of “The State of Vermont’s Children: 2023 Year in Review” on January 18 at 12:00 pm.

This report provides a snapshot of the state of Vermont’s children and families, including a profile for each of Vermont’s 12 regions. It also highlights the annual Policy Recommendations from Vermont’s Early Childhood State Advisory Council Network.

’24 Agenda Issue Survey – Gift Card Raffle – Two Days Remaining!

Each year the Alliance asks our newsletter readers to let us know which of the issues on our annual Legislative Agenda are of the most interest to you. We use this information to provide you with occasional updates on those issues, and to let you know about targeted advocacy activities.

This year we are providing an incentive to encourage more of you to participate. Five people who fill out this year’s Legislative Agenda issue survey will be chosen to win a $30 gift card to a business of their choosing! By filling out this form, you are automatically entered to win. Names will be chosen at random THIS FRIDAY, December 15. Winners will be notified by email.

Hunger Free Vermont (End) Hunger Briefing – Recording Released

If you missed Hunger Free Vermont’s (HFV) virtual (End) Hunger Briefing on November 29, there's still a chance to dive into this vital conversation about hunger in Vermont and learn more about HFV’s upcoming advocacy efforts. The Vermont Early Childhood Advocacy Alliance is a statewide coalition formed in 2000 of early childhood professionals, parents, organizations, businesses, and strategic partners committed to improving public policies that impact young children between birth and age eight in the areas of health, safety, food security, economic security, and early care and education.
