Submit a Public Comment on the Governor’s FY21 Budget by December 13
Governor Scott’s Administration is accepting public comments on FY21 budget priorities through Friday, December 13. Public comments are critical to starting the conversation we need to have – that the state budget must meet the needs of Vermont communities, and that our voices should be heard by budget writers.
Several issues on the Alliance’s Legislative Agenda center on investment in Vermont’s young children and families. Essential services like CIS and housing programs have seen level funding for over a decade, leading to a critical lack of capacity to serve the children and families that need them most.
Please consider submitting a public comment supporting investment in the health, safety, food security, economic security, and early care and education programs that enable Vermonters to thrive.
Visit the Department of Finance and Management website or contact Charlie Gliserman at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on how to participate in Vermont’s budget process.
