VTEAYC Webinar on State Health Insurance Enrollment

On December 1, VTAEYC hosted a webinar with Vermont Health Connect to help early childhood educators learn about new affordable health insurance options. Here are a few things we learned:

  • You can make an appointment with a navigator via Vermont Health Connect.
  • Employers who do not offer health insurance may be able to offer Qualified Small Employer Health Reimbursement Accounts that could help employees' premium and out-of-pocket costs.
  • There are no-premium and reduced-premium plans available at much higher incomes than in the past.
  • Open enrollment is through January 15, 2021, but you need to sign up by December 15 to be covered on January 1.

Watch the webinar recording and check out Vermont Health Connect's plan comparison tool.
