BBF VECAP Summit – 5/27

Building Bright Futures (BBF) is hosting their annual Vermont Early Childhood Action Plan (VECAP) Summit virtually on Tuesday, May 27 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. The VECAP is a collective vision of the steps necessary in Vermont to improve the lives of children and families. This gathering will include those from across the 450-person BBF network (State Advisory Council, VECAP Committees, and Regional Councils) to rededicate to the vision, celebrate progress, and inform strategy to collectively work to implement this plan.

The Summit will include small group sessions to explore objectives of the VECAP, share BBF’s vision for that objective, monitor progress, and discuss strategy.

Save the Date 3SquaresVT Conference – 7/17

The 6th Annual 3SquaresVT Conference, Navigating Change with Hope, hosted by Hunger Free Vermont and the Department for Children and Families, will be held virtually on July 17. Change is coming fast, and what that means for the people in Vermont who rely on 3SquaresVT is not yet clear. As federal threats to 3SquaresVT foreshadow troubling change, this conference is a space to gather in community, continue learning, and crystalize hope.

The conference organizers are asking for input on what ideas matter to you, so they can offer trainings, workshops, and conversations that will support your work.

Share your ideas on this form. Registration and other information is available on the conference website.
