Upcoming Child Care and Development Fund State Plan Public Hearing - 6/2, 5:30 pm The Child Development Division will be holding a public hearing on the state’s use of Child Care and Development Funds (CCDF) on Wednesday, June 2 at 5:30 pm. The Child Care and Development Block Grant provides CCDF to states in order to improve access to affordable, high quality services for low income working families. CCDF is also used to support information and child referral services for families and to improve the quality of child care services in the state. All states are required to submit information to the federal Office of Child Care in the Agency of Health and Human Services on the state’s use of CCDF and other funds every three years. Vermont’s current plan (FFY 2019-2021) is available online at https://dcf.vermont.gov/cdd/reports.
