While the Legislative session has not quite concluded, advocacy and legislative action has wrapped up for the year on most issues on the Alliance Agenda. With that in mind, we will hold a Session Recap Spotlight session on Monday, June 9, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm, with updates on all the issues on our Agenda.

Alliance Equity Discussion –  "You Belong Here: Creating Relationships Rooted in Belonging and Allyship" – 6/20

Join a group of peers and colleagues from the early childhood community to engage in sustained learning about anti-racism, equity, and inclusion. The Alliance hosts a monthly, salon-style Equity Discussion Group via Zoom, and the next session is coming up on Friday, June 20, at 1:00 pm.

Our discussion this month will be focused on building a sense of belonging and allyship in the early childhood community. Our discussion will be led by Tessa Dearborn, the Executive Director
of the Red Clover Children's Center and an "Equity x Young Children" Fellow with VT AEYC, who has been focusing on how to transform an understanding of personal biases and privilege into belonging and allyship.
