Alliance Monthly Equity Discussion – “Exploring Trauma Informed Care” – 6/28

Join a group of peers and colleagues from the early childhood community to engage in sustained learning about anti-racism, equity, and inclusion. The Alliance hosts a monthly, salon-style Equity Discussion Group via Zoom. Our next session is coming up on Friday, June 28, at 1:00 pm.

This month we will be talking about trauma -- what it is, how you define trauma-informed care and policy, and its connection to human rights and equity. The discussion will be led by Eric Ruiz, Director of Mental Health & Substance Use Services for Vermont Care Partners. VCP is a statewide network of sixteen non-profit community-based agencies providing mental health, substance use, and intellectual and developmental disability services and supports.

Register on Zoom to receive the meeting link.
