VBSR Policy in Action Webinar – 7/10

The Vermont Business for Social Responsibility (VBSR) will be holding their end of session virtual forum, “Policy in Action: VBSR’s 2025 Legislative Session Highlights” on July 10. Hear first-hand from VBSR’s advocacy allies and member businesses as they share key legislative successes from the 2025 session and look ahead at what’s next for the remainder of the year.

Speakers will include Chad Simmons, the Housing Policy and Engagement Specialist at the Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA), and Aly Richards, CEO of Let's Grow Kids

BBF Advocacy Learning Sessions – 7/10 and 7/17

The Building Bright Futures (BBF) Families & Communities Committee is hosting two free virtual learning sessions on July 10 and July 17 to explore why ideas from families and community members matter and to strengthen storytelling skills. Participating parents with children aged 8 and younger are eligible to receive $18/hour payment.

The Vermont Early Childhood Advocacy Alliance is a statewide coalition formed in 2000 of early childhood professionals, parents, organizations, businesses, and strategic partners committed to improving public policies that impact young children between birth and age eight in the areas of health, safety, food security, economic security, and early care and education.

The Alliance crafts an annual Legislative Agenda in partnership with early childhood organizations, provides year-round advocacy support, and facilitates meaningful interactions with policymakers at key times during the decision making process.
