Re-envisioning AHS Prioritization Survey

Last year the Legislature passed Act 119, which directed the Agency of Human Services (AHS) to undertake a re-envisioning process to investigate how they can serve Vermonters better.

As part of that process, AHS is conducting a survey of the public, partners, clients, and anyone impacted by the agency to get guidance and input. The questions in the survey are based on themes that were developed after gathering information and feedback from many people, groups, and communities across the state. You can learn more about the Act 119 project and read the full set of themes on the agency’s Act 199 webpage

Answers to the survey will help the agency prioritize the next steps in their process. The survey is anonymous and has only a few questions. You can use this link to access the survey.

VTAEYC Conference – Registration Open

Registration is now open for the Vermont Association for the Education of Young Children (VTAEYC) annual conference on October 22 to 24 at the Hotel Champlain Burlington. This event offers over 35 workshops across six breakout sessions, two keynote presentations, and a variety of networking opportunities that give participants the opportunity to engage in new learning and connect with resources, peers, and community partners.

This year’s conference theme, “Rhythms of Learning: Unlocking the Power of Creativity”, will explore how creativity can enrich the work with young children and enhance both play and development. Sessions will examine how creative practices can strengthen connections with children and empower educators to lead with innovation and vision.

Visit the VTAEYC website for more information and to register.
