Newly Merged Housing Alliance Forms, Hiring Staff

After getting the unanimous approval of their member organizations and governing boards, the Vermont Affordable Housing Coalition and the Vermont Coalition to End Homelessness have officially merged to form the Housing and Homelessness Alliance of Vermont (HHAV).

HHAV aims to have a stronger and more unified voice in the State House, a larger staff with more capacity, and more stable and sustainable funding streams. The new organization is working toward a future in which all Vermonters have safe, stable, and affordable homes with housing opportunity, choice, and dignity – and if homelessness does occur, that it is brief and non-recurring.

HHAV is hiring for two staff positions that result from the merger. More information and application instructions can be found on the VAHC website.
